New building safety regulations mean that landlords must be able to store and share the latest information on their buildings with tenants and the Fire & Rescue service. ONE Engage devised an ingenious online platform that enables everyone involved to upload 'data for public good' and access the documents they need. We were asked to help explain the service to new users and spark their interest using a motion graphics animation.
With so many different people potentially using the service, we wanted to make sure that they all understood how accessible it is. We were keen to represent diversity and encourage everyone to contribute vital information that could be a matter of life and death in an emergency situation. We aimed to take viewers on a smooth and seamless journey, setting up the issues and risks and breaking down barriers to show a happy outcome.
We were delighted that the ONE Engage platform was shortlisted in two categories of the Housing Digital Innovation Awards
Choosing a muted colour palette and soft, reassuring soundtrack, our creative team chose exactly the right characters to represent everyone involved and added simplified views of ONE Engage screens. Our work needed to convey the gravity and importance of this serious subject in a way that portrayed the service as easy to use, dependable and sure to keep residents safe. We were delighted that the ONE Engage platform was shortlisted in two categories of the Housing Digital Innovation Awards.
